Ever since I was a little kid, I have wanted to be an astronaut. Everything about the stars and moon amazed me. “Why do they spin? How do they spin? What happens if this planet just disappears?” were all questions that picked at my mind.
I plan on finishing up my undergraduate degree in physics, then continuing my education at another institution, either Lehigh University, or Columbia University. I want to expand my academic career into mechanical or aerospace engineering.
My favorite project I worked on so far would have to be the radio my teammates and I built from scratch using analog circuits. We could tune it to whatever station we wanted as well as the volume.
This scholarship has given me the opportunity to set my full attention on my academics, rather than stressing about how I’ll be able to afford my next semester of classes.
