My story
I’ve always loved my science and math classes in school, but I never liked writing or English classes – so becoming a physics major was definitely the best choice for me. What I’m most passionate about in physics are the discoveries of new star systems and planets in the observable universe.
For now, I plan to earn my graduate degree in astrophysics after I serve as an officer in the Army. Afterward, I want to apply to the Astronaut Selection Program. Something cool I did over the summer was a study abroad in Switzerland at CERN. I attended the Summer Student Lecture program and even helped with the ALICE experiment at the LHC.
This scholarship has really helped me through my final year of college and has enabled me to focus fully on my studies.
