'Allah does not task any soul beyond its capacity. Whatever good it earns is to its benefit, and whatever evil it incurs is to its harm.' - The Quran
I have been interested in science since I was a child. I always had an insatiable curiosity about how things work. I was usually not satisfied with the surface answers either, always being the kind of kid to ask the string of “why?”.
I love how outlandish some of the explanations in physics seem. It makes me wonder how anyone could come up with this. To think of where we started to where we are now, it is really impressive to think about some of the explanations and theories we take for granted.
I would like to continue in school to get a PhD.I recently finished a summer research program with my professor in which I learned about her research into quasars and started helping the research group. I thought it was amazing to get to learn more about these incredible objects and then to start to help the research group and get to present was a fun experience. Once I understood what quasars were enough I found it very fun to explain them to the public at the SURP poster session.
