'Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.' - Thomas Jefferson
I first became interested in physics when I took my first physics class during my junior year of high school. I am most passionate about new innovations in refining our understanding of the processes of the universe.
After obtaining my degree in physics, I plan to study patent and intellectual property law to assist in physics innovation. During the summer after my freshman year of college, I was able to participate in research with a professor focused on refining the standard model of particle physics. His experiments specifically focused on neutron optics, polarizing helium-3 and performing free induction decay nuclear magnetic resonance. This upcoming academic year, I will also be attending Oxford University in Oxford, England, as a visiting student to study physics.
