'Wisdom is like a baobab tree; no one individual can embrace it.' - Ghanaian proverb
When I got back in school, I had a lot of different interests. I decided to major in the one area that I had always found compelling—physics.
People take extremely precise measurements of seemingly impossible-to-measure phenomena, and then use those numbers to tell stories that reveal the truth of our existence.
I plan to attend graduate school for astronomy, and I hope to continue on to a career as a research scientist. In James Dent’s lab at SHSU, we characterize gravitational wave signals from first-order phase transitions in the early universe. I also work with Riddhi Bandyopadhyay, from Princeton’s Space Physics group, investigating the solar wind in magnetic switchbacks.
