My passion lies in thermodynamics. I find heavy interest in engines and intend to make them the focus of the bulk of my research eventually.

One of my biggest goals in life is to develop and mass-produce an alternative to the internal combustion engine that runs on a renewable or cleanly combusted power source. I currently aid in research on magnetic thin films and bulk samples. In our lab we grow our own films on a variety of substrates, measure their magnetic properties, and take microscopic images of their surfaces
