‘Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty. … I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well.’ - Theodore Roosevelt
My interest in my major was activated by my high school physics classes and teacher. As soon as I started learning about how and why the world functions as it does, and how math can be used to explain all of this, I knew it was what I wanted to do.
I am most passionate about how much there is still left to discover in the universe. I love that physics is such a comprehensive vehicle to explain just about any circumstance you can ever find yourself in.
Once I graduate, I want to contribute to theoretical quantum discoveries!
I am currently an executive member of the University of Alabama’s Women in Physics and Astronomy Club. We strive to offer resources to all women in STEM and continue outreach programs to further connect with our community.
