I chose physics because I wanted a major that challenged me and gave me versatile problem-solving skills that apply to many fields, from software engineering to data science.

I’ve contributed to a project using Monte Carlo simulations and neutron spin studies that are trying to find if a 5th force exists in this universe. Receiving this scholarship has been so important to me. It eases some stress, allows me to focus on my academics, and provides the resources necessary for academic success.
